NETWORKING & SHOUTOUTS
As a direct sales company, Paparazzi recognizes the value of networking. Examples of networking include, but are not limited to:
- Hosting a Facebook Live party for a friend who represents another direct sales company.
- Posting a “thank you” to your hair stylist and encouraging your friends to visit her site.
- Posting a picture of a product you purchased from another business.
Consultants can network with other businesses on social media under the following conditions:
- Shoutouts and other networking posts must not be posted on a Consultant’s Paparazzi business pages or groups on social media. However, they can be posted on a Consultant’s personal social media page, even if Paparazzi is sold or promoted there.
- Consultants should not promote or shout out other businesses on a Paparazzi sales video. If someone asks about a non-Paparazzi product during a Paparazzi sales video, ask them to send you a personal message.
- Consultants should not promote other businesses that financially benefit them or members of their household. For example, it would not be compliant to shout out a friend’s skincare network marketing business if you are your friend’s sponsor in that business.
- Consultants must not promote businesses belonging to members of their households.
- If a Consultant hosts a live party for a friend’s business, the video must originate on the friend’s social media page. However, the video can be shared on the Consultant’s personal social media page.
