Acquiring Paparazzi Accessories from Sources Other Than Paparazzi

Paparazzi does not recommend the sale or exchange of Paparazzi Accessories from sources other than corporate Paparazzi, including from other Paparazzi Consultants. Consultants should purchase their inventory directly from the Back Office for the following reasons:

• Consultants are assured of receiving authentic Paparazzi Accessories. Consultants have been canceled for selling non-Paparazzi jewelry they purchased from others and portrayed as Paparazzi Accessories, believing the items were authentic Paparazzi Accessories.
• When an Accessory is purchased through the Back Office, Paparazzi collects sales tax on the retail sales price of the Accessory and remits it to the Consultant’s state as required by law. As Paparazzi does not collect sales tax for Hostess Rewards or Paparazzi Accessories obtained from sources other than Paparazzi, Consultants who sell such Accessories (or who sell any Paparazzi Accessories for more than Paparazzi’s designated retail price) should consult a tax advisor regarding sales/use tax reporting and payment requirements. • Consultants can be credited for damaged Accessories purchased directly from Paparazzi pursuant to Paparazzi’s return policy. Paparazzi Accessories and non-Paparazzi jewelry purchased from other sources will not be accepted by Paparazzi.
• Consultants accumulate PV to be considered active, to advance in rank, to progress toward Life of the Party qualification, and to be eligible for commissions and bonuses.
• Exchanges of Paparazzi Accessories are risky and should be avoided. If only one party completes the trade, it can be difficult to prove that the other party failed to follow through because there is usually no documented contract of the exchange.
